Our special Premium Reef Salt prevents calcium precipitation and, in combination with magnesium and other ingredients, promotes rapid growth of red algae. Even the most sensitive fish and corals thrive magnificently. Hint: 36 g dissolved in 1000 ml deionised water at 25° C gives the following values (approx.): - density 1.022 - pH value 8.3-8.5 - KH approx. 8-10° dKH - Calcium content of approx. 420 mg/L - magnesium content of approx. 1368 mg/L - Strontium approx. 8.1 mg/L We recommend a 5-10% water change every 1-2 weeks.
