Zur biologisch idealen Calcium-Zufuhr in Korallenaquarien nach der Balling-Methode Calcium ist eines der wichtigsten Elemente im Meerwasser, da es zusammen mit Kohlendioxid als Calciumcarbonat von Fischen und Korallen für den Skelettaufbau benötigt wird. Aus diesem Grund sollte besonders im Riffaquarium Calcium zugeführt werden, um den Steinkorallen ein gesundes Wachstum zu ermöglichen und naturnahe Verhältnisse zu schaffen. Mit Tropic Marin® Bio-Calcium werden dem Becken ausschließlich Kohlendioxid und Calcium in der biologisch idealen Form nach der Balling-Methode zugeführt. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Calciumzusätzen stört Tropic Marin® Bio-Calcium das Ionengleichgewicht nicht und der pH-Wert bleibt stabil.
