Liquid concentrate for the elimination of nutrient limitations in corals Corals need minimum concentrations of phosphates and nitrogen compounds for their metabolism and the metabolism of their zooxanthellae to thrive. Especially in very nutrient-poor aquariums (ULNS = Ultra Low Nutrient System) a deficiency of these nutrients can occur. Tropic Marin® Plus-NP supplies phosphates and nitrogen compounds in concentrations adapted to the needs of the corals. Combined by an organic energy carrier, nitrogen and phosphates are more digestible for corals than by adding inorganic nutrient salts. Nutrient losses due to denitrification and adsorption are thus minimized, a nutrient deficiency of the corals is prevented and growth resumes. The liquid Plus-NP concentrate is easy to use and suitable for manual dosing as well as for dosing pumps.
