For biologically ideal calcium supply in coral aquariums according to the balling method Calcium is one of the most important elements in seawater, as it is needed together with carbon dioxide as calcium carbonate by fish and corals for skeletal structure. For this reason, calcium should be added, especially in reef aquariums, in order to allow the hard corals to grow healthily and to create natural conditions. With Tropic Marin® Bio-Calcium, only carbon dioxide and calcium in the biologically ideal form are supplied to the tank using the balling method. Unlike other calcium additives, Tropic Marin® Bio-Calcium does not disturb the ion balance and the pH value remains stable.
