Product information "Bacto Energy 250ml - Nutrient concentrate for filter bacteria"

BACTO ENERGY (previously: Ultra Bak
) is a special carbon source for an optimal supply of pollutant-degrading bacteria in saltwater aquariums.

  • safe reduction of nitrite, nitrate and phosphate
  • reliable degradation of nitrogen compounds
  • targeted support of denitrifying bacteria
  • cost-efficient due to high concentration
  • easy to dose and absolutely riff-proof

Dosage:

Daily 2 - 5 ml per 1000 litres depending on nutrient content and animal stock.
For older tanks with high nutrient levels, first carry out a phosphate reduction with ULTRA PHOS and reduce the dosage by 75%.

Now increase the dosage every 2 weeks by approx. 10%, always check the current water values.

If slimy deposits appear on discs and stones, the dose is too high. Please always carry out all changes to the aquarium carefully!
