PhytoBreeder 2 - The Plankton Reactor The PhytoBreeder enables everyone to increase their own phytoplankton. Under optimal conditions, up to 30% of the volume can be taken from the PhytoBreeder daily, which corresponds approximately to a plankton quantity of 3.5 or 6 liters and can be supplied to the reef aquarium as food. This process can be automated with the PhytoControl. The PhytoBreeder 2 is even more compact than its predecessor. The light source has been integrated into the breeding room, thus drastically increasing the light yield. The removable lid was replaced by a 110mm screwing, so the Phytobreeder is easy to open and absolutely pressure-tight.
